Smarts for All increases its educational assistance in Colombia

Smarts for All has signed a partnership agreement with two amazing foundations, Solidaridad por Colombia and Fundación Niños de los Andes. These partnerships will allow us to fund multiple early childhood centers and connect the children in those centers with donor families who are participating in the Smarts for All Journey Program ® or are sponsoring a child’s education.

Both Foundations are iconic institutions in Colombia and have been helping Colombians since the mid-1970’s.  Solidaridad por Colombia has over 45 years of experience helping with early childhood education and other causes.  Solidaridad for Colombia runs seven early learning centers, educates over 1,200 students, and funds other early learning centers across Colombia.

Fundación Niños de los Andes has almost 40 years of experience, and started by helping children in Bogota who were living underground – literally under the streets of the capital city. Since then, the Fundación has grown to support multiple cities in Colombia and helps thousands of children every year.

These partnerships are a great accomplishment for Smarts for All, as we can increase our impact in Colombia, one of our initial focus nations.  Smarts for All’s goal in Colombia is to reach 10,000 children by 2030. Partnering with such experienced and successful organizations as Fundación Niños de los Andes and Solidaridad para Colombia is a major step toward reaching our goal.

These agreements open the door for Smarts for All to start offering training on safety, nutrition, and curriculum at multiple schools in Colombia. This will allow us to ensure that these centers will provide high quality education to young students in safe, nutritious environments. We will also help prepare them to earn accreditation from Smarts for All.

Smarts for All looks forward to providing the knowledge, leadership and commitment Colombian children need to prepare for a healthy and secure life.
